For those who will need this after us, I may say that I learned that if DC power led is flashing an error code, it means that there is a problem with the power supply. Now what problem? That will tell the code, but anyway most likely you are facing a dead motherboard.* p4 ]  S, b7 n( B/ R, w

Make sure the AC adaptor cord and AC power cord are firmly plugged into the DC IN 15 V socket and wall outlet. If the cables are connected correctly, connect a new AC adaptor and/or AC power cord, if necessary.& @% h( a% D$ P$ A- [

In the case of error code 2Xh:  F/ ]! X% f. y( {3 H

Make sure the battery pack is correctly installed in the computer. If the battery pack is correctly installed, replace the battery pack with a new one. / ~4 D3 s; _3 o( ]5 S

If the error still exists, the system board or the battery board may be disconnected or damaged. Disassemble the computer and check the connection between the AC adaptor and the system board and connection between the system board and the battery board (if there is one, in my case it was integrated to ths system board).5 F8 G% m' ~) Q# i& o2 R

8 a) G' @$ X, T& Z8 S) U4 rAfter checking the connection, perform the following:/ J5 U0 ?1 B! n
Check 1
. s3 y, S& G0 |2 \Replace the AC adaptor with a new one. If the AC adaptor is still not functioning properly, perform Check 2.
% T. d& z. \/ R0 NCheck 2
# x% a6 ]6 [( H$ f4 C2 FUse a multimeter to make sure that the F8800 fuse on the System board is not blown. If the fuse is not blown, go to Check 3. If the fuse is blown, go to Check 6.
0 \2 u9 f6 t+ A3 t" ~' aCheck 3' {2 r7 O+ Z' `7 o
Use a multimeter to make sure that the F1000 fuse on the Battery board is not blown. If the fuse is not blown, go to Check 4. If the fuse is blown, replace the Battery board with a new one following the instructions in Chapter 4.4 e+ G$ Q; {% g; {

3 F! L* l' Z8 s" L) n7 TMake sure that the Battery board cables are firmly connected to PJ8820 and PJ8821 on the System board and to PJ1000 and PJ1001 on the battery board. If they are connected firmly, go to Check 5.9 ?- e( p) u. o6 _5 r7 g) H# r, W

! {% u. d. u4 l" {0 g( V6 y" b3 LThe Battery board or System board may be damaged. Replace it with a new one following the instructions in Chapter 4.
