The socket 754 mobile Sempron it currently wears, a Sempron 2600+ AKA the 25w Sonora cpu, and I note that these mobile cpu's go up in the 754 format of correct wattage to the 3100+ Sonora, and while others show in the cpu table (Albany, Georgetown, Roma they are of increased wattage) and up to the point of a 3200+ Keene where the socket changes to socket S1.. I have changed the original tiny DDR PC2100 sodimms to 2 X 1g PC3200 sodimms with no problems at all so it might well be assumed that the rest of the hardware may work equally well when both cpu and vid card and hard drive are changed out for faster and suitable alternatives.: f. Y: q) r* O; X

Of course if these basic theories to upgrade this unit are either known to not work on this system board, or if even faster components will also work, feel free to let me know, just know that I do know that much faster can be had for a lot less cash, that would be too easy and defeat the input of something different.
